eight years!!

Today marks eight years. . .

eight years of being married to my best friend---that's you, John!! 

8 years since the beginning of the Shoemaker family. . . 

eight years laughing, crying, smiling . . .

8 years of our eternity together!!

The happiest place on earth!!

DISNEYLAND

We spent last week in California with all of John's family.

The weather was perfect all week.

We spent lots of time at Disneyland and the beach.

(Sure wish I had a deep dark tan to show off. :] )

We left Tyson with his absolutely wonderful Aunt Carrie and Uncle Dan.

The Scary Mask

     Saturday afternoon, some neighbor kids came by with scary Halloween masks. Sterling wanted a scary mask, too. So he turned to his ever crafty and creative sister for help. (Not to mention she's better with the scissors.) After several attempts and failures at perfection, the perfect scary mask was created, and then carefully attached to Sterling's head.

     After a few good laughs and some pictures, Sterling, with Mckenzie close by, went to our neighbors' houses, rang the doorbell, and roared at whoever answered. 

     At any rate, it kept the two of them entertained for quite some time.
