Promise of things to come

I was once told that crocuses are the first sign of spring.

So, I had to plant some and now each year, as I see the first blooms, I know spring is finally on its way.

Shopping in February also always gets me excited for warmer weather.

John and I couldn't resist getting hats for all our kids.
